  Re: New Female Mecha

(...) Hey Dave, Whoa! H-e-l-l-o! This is one of the more freakiest things I've seen! I really mean that as a compliment!! Really! It's weird though, my brain is filling in all of the info and telling me that your MOC is real (human) but at the same (...) (23 years ago, 21-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Prototype Tieran Marine Core Power Armor 002

(...) Great! It's amazing the suggestion of detail you get from so few bricks! I'd like to see a whole battallion of these guys!! Too bad about your camera. Have you thought about building a hangar for these guys? Jeff (23 years ago, 21-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha & LDraw Files

(...) Hey man, I didn't mean it as a rude comment, but I guess it does sound a little obnoxious. I meant it as helpful critisim. Your old CAN missle pods were just two 2x2 bricks, don't get me wrong, they do look like missle pods. But the new ones (...) (23 years ago, 21-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Mech, Beast

Thanks Tony! (...) Thanks, Getting in just the right position was a bear. That's where I got the name *&%#$ Beast, shortened to Beast of course :) (...) You know, you should do it! If you need/want permission to take the idea and run with it, (...) (23 years ago, 21-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Mech, Beast

Thanks Chris! I've always liked the idea of mechs being big industrial things... You know, Beast is about the same size as the Truks and as the Sprite too. Maybe I should do a lego Mecha soccer team.   Re: New Mecha & LDraw Files

(...) Ah, Variable Projectile Launchers. (...) Good stuff! (...) That's what I thought the CAN was for, shooting at a Mecha, Tank, or Aircraft. Looks like I guessed right! (...) I'm glad too see that you're on your toes! (...) You did! Rob (...) (23 years ago, 21-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha & LDraw Files

(...) Oh, well you said "what happens if it takes a major hit there?" so I interpreted that you were talking about armour. My write up has a blurb about the following... I added some more details to this explaination though... Opening panels are (...) (23 years ago, 21-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Prototype Tieran Marine Core Power Armor 002

(...) Thanks man! (...) Wow, "admire", that is definitelly a great compliment coming from one of my inspirational builders. I have absolutelly no prob with doing so. I will make a folder called DAT Files and post it for you or anyone that would like (...) (23 years ago, 20-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha & LDraw Files

(...) Na, I get the point, but what type of defense do your mechas have against "real world threats?" I don't see any missle evasion systems, which would be the primary threat against any mecha! Just think of what an aircraft like the A-10 (or your (...) (23 years ago, 20-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Prototype Tieran Marine Core Power Armor 002

WOAH! Now this is impressive, David! I love this power armour so much! Excellent design; it even opens up! The heavy artillery cannon is cool too. One request: Could you please provide a LDraw file for download? Preferably a .MPD one? I'd really (...) (23 years ago, 20-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha & LDraw Files

(...) Hi Chris! Good to hear from you too. (...) Before this hand design I used my old one quite a bit. I modified it ever so slightly for each model but it was still the same concept.   Prototype Tieran Marine Core Power Armor 002

Hey everyone. I just posted some rendered pictures of my new creation. Here is the link: (URL) camera is no more so I had to do some CAD. Anyway, please tell me what you guys think. Thanks in advance. (23 years ago, 20-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Female Mecha

(...) Very interesting! I would advise that you not confine this MOC to the category of "Mecha" - This is an all around very creative MOC, which could have appeal outside of our arena. As for it's posability, I am very impressed by the posability (...) (23 years ago, 20-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha & LDraw Files

(...) amazing! I'm always impressed by the fact that you don't just settle on one hand design and reproduce it in all of your mecha... Also, I think this is the first mecha by you that I've seen in a grey & black color scheme. I really like the fact (...) (23 years ago, 20-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
