Hi all, I haven't posted for some time, but I've finally finished a new
mecha design.  It's actually a prototype for some future designs that I have
in mind.  I think you'll find it quite interesting, not only in form, but in
posability.  I don't know that I've seen another mecha with this much
potential for poses.  Thus the large number of pictures that I've put on my
site.

Next up is a Fei Yen from Virtual On to this same scale with the same
posability.  I'm eager to get started.

Well, take a look and let me know what you think of her, the site is

Very interesting!  I would advise that you not confine this MOC to the
category of "Mecha"  - This is an all around very creative MOC, which could
have appeal outside of our arena.

As for it's posability, I am very impressed by the posability you've
achieved.  I think that, while the number of "points of articulation"
(whatever that means) aren't excessive, the combination of the mecha's form
(curvature) and the choices of aritculation points (like the waist) really
add new dimensionality to this model.  The pics of the mecha crawling, with
her waist in a catlike position are eerily realistic.  I also think that the
double jointed knee adds new dimensionality to this model, as well.

I'm really enjoying all of the new posable mecha appearing these days.  I'm
currently working on a new mecha that will have a bendable and twisting
spine that uses worm gears.  Hopefully I'll be done with it in the next
couple of months...

Later, Chris
