  Re: MOC: Morpheus--- Revealed!

:^O Wow! that rocks! Dangit, I love this! The torso is so cool. Rounded and smooth, with all these hoses comin' out everywhere, too cool! Everything has such a neat shape, clean and curvatured. The proportions seem just perfect to me, the head! It (...) (23 years ago, 2-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Hi!

Hey Jeff! I have admired your work for some time, and I love it! Like Stuart said, you use bionicle pieces like Magic! You even find uses for the lids! Your mecha are so innovative, and really well done, I look forward to more. -Geordan- (...) (23 years ago, 2-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: War Strider, Fantsy Mecha

YAY! Unlike Mark, I really like the skinny ankles, I think they add a really neat touch, making the top look strong and tough, pretty cool. I really like the shape of this guy, and his swords absolutely rule! This is definitely one of your best (...) (23 years ago, 2-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.castle)

  Re: Another new mech builder

Welcome! for a first mecha, this is really wuite good. You have some really neat shapes going there, espeicially around the leg area. I like the rail gun as other's have stated, even if it was inspired by Mladen's MDP. Overall, this is a really good (...) (23 years ago, 2-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: MOC: Morpheus--- Revealed!

(...) Impressive! Most Impressive! I love this thing! From the two front teeth wright down to the hoofs! The head and neck are simply excellent! I never bother with doing something with the neck; this is simply wounderful! Wright now I am too (...) (23 years ago, 2-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: MOC: Morpheus--- Revealed!

(...) Oh my...wow. That is so amazing. I love the head and the legs; absolutely brilliant. The minifig torso (especially arms) is a very ingenious solution for teeth. And the wizard hats! All the red hoses, and the pokey things....cool. My only beef (...) (23 years ago, 2-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  MOC: Morpheus--- Revealed!

Hi! It's here: (URL) had lots of fun preparing the teaser pix (with the assistance of Photoshop and landscape generator Terragen), and truly appreciate those curious enough to reply. Any questions, comments, complaints? Taking on all comers. stuart (23 years ago, 2-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha) !

  Re: Hi!

(...) I have indeed seen your work on Brickshelf, and, not being a Bionicle fan myself, was doubly blown away! You've managed to implement what I have considered to be mostly unusable pieces in clever and dynamic ways. The valkyries, 'jello, and (...) (23 years ago, 2-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) definitely large for a first mech, as Chris stated. Impressive! And, yes, Lego _can_ get rather heavy. (...) this sounds like a good thing-- but I'm not sure that you think so. I think the larger the models get, the more limits you need to put (...) (23 years ago, 2-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Hi!

I'm new to Lugnet and just wanted to say hi and test out my new posting abilities. You might have seen my stuff on Brickshelf: (URL) whole bionicle thing (oh no! I said the B-word!!) has brought me back into the Lego obsession and that's what I've (...) (23 years ago, 1-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Another new mech builder

(...) That's some mecha you've got there. Very ambitious for a first mecha. I definitely like the overall form. I also like some of the details (i.e. cockpit). As others have said, the color scheme is a bit busy (IMO), but hey, you build with what (...) (23 years ago, 2-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) heh, and a scaled down rip off of Mladen Pejic's MDP cannons :) (URL) I like the shape of the upper torso. Prsonally I made it a bit silly, what with it's enourmous Pecs & shiny black nipples... Too much Ren & Stimpy + Red Dwarf :) (...) (...) (23 years ago, 2-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Thanks! (...) Not sure if I agree, but I'm glad someone likes it :) (...) It's about 12" or two &1/3 popcans tall. it's definitely twice as heavy as I'd planned.   Re: Another new mech builder

I like this very much! Good sense of how to use two very conrasting colours-- neither one overpowers the other, very nice balance. Also very nice proportions-- increasingly difficult as your mechs increase in size, IMO. This one seems quite large, (...) (23 years ago, 1-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
