I'm new to Lugnet and just wanted to say hi and test out my new posting
abilities. You might have seen my stuff on Brickshelf:

This whole bionicle thing (oh no! I said the B-word!!) has brought me back
into the Lego obsession and that's what I've been building with recently.
Not so say that I'm opposed to brick building, just that I'm working my
nerve to it after seeing what all you guys have been posting.  That's all.
Hope to post here more frequently and get some good feedback.  Keep up the
good work.

Jeff

Hey, welcome!

Man, I've noticed your stuff for a while.  Now, I must say, as a rule of thumb,
I'm not really into bionicle MOC's.  A lot of them look thrown together really
quickly.

That being said, your stuff is a BIG exception!  I nearly fell out of my chair
when I saw that Geiger Alien!  I've actually considered building one just to
have around!  And Your valkyries and you Limoncello are amazing!  I thing the
thing that set them apart from other Bionicle MOC's is that they are "filled
out" and don't have that spindly look to them.

Please keep posting in build.mecha to let us know of your new creations.  I
can't wait to see what you come up with using those new Bohrok sets...

Later, Chris

Hey Chris,

I think the thing that sets them apart from other Bionicle MOC's is that they are "filled out" and don't have that spindly look to them.

That's what I originally thought about the Technic's line!  They looked like
erector sets!  Yuck!  But the cool thing about  Bionicle parts is that there
are some pieces that can really  disguise the "spindly" look.  I dealing
with that problem with the Mech I'm working on now. Since it's a little
bigger,  there are more spots to fill in.  AAAAAAggghh!
