Just a couple of critiques:  (please remember this is IMO, ignore at will)

Hey I asked for opinions right :)

*color, too jumbled.  Black and yellow do go well with one another but too
busy.  Try to go for one main color then highlight with the other.

yeah it isn't exactly easy on the eyes. Just happened to have one tub of yellow
one tub of black & another tub of mixed yellow & black on hand when I started.

*detail bits, too weird.  They look scattered, bolted on in strange places.
(specifically the radio on the back of the calf and the heel details)
Doesn't mean you can't use them, it's just that in this application they
busy the mecha rather than enhance it.

Those radios were the last thing I put on actually... the heel antennae were
one of the first things I did... wierd.

Otherwise awesome!  Looking forward to seeing some more!

I'd like to do another, hopefully with geared joints unfortunately my worm
gears aren't spontaneously multiplying... guess they aren't really like rabbits
after all :(

Wow! Welcome aboard, I think you'll fit in nicely!! If that's your first mech, I'd say you're doing real good. Good size, looks impressive. I like the mount for the BFG. (those ball sockets are nice arn't they?) Love the mace!! Just a couple of (...) (23 years ago, 1-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
