Will the real mechsters please stand up

.mecha, home to the few and land of the seldom. We can change that. I am working on attaching the shoulder joints to the central body of my new mecha. I'm using turntables and the body frame is like that of the Rizmit. (so far) White and Dark Grey (...) (20 years ago, 13-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: What is Best in Life?

(...) Very cool. The leg design is ingenious. However, from a practical point of view, a three legged bot isn't very, um, practical. Take out one leg, and it looks like those legs could be taken out quite easily, and it's down for the count. Four or (...) (20 years ago, 12-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) Ahhh...you know the riddle of steel, don't you boy. What can I say, you've saved the best robriq for the Reich...and the State appreciates your sacrifice. Seriously, this moc rocks beyond belief. The leg design is truly inspired. -Keith (20 years ago, 12-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

I'll alter this to things I'd love to see done in .build.mecha IF time permits and I'll answer some questions at the end. Yep. Seems we did this a LOOOONG time ago here. I'll have to look it up. What is your name? Dave Johann, aka "legomecha" or "HardCore". I'll sometimes answer to 'Hey you'.   Re: Unfinished

Brayton, this is just beautiful. I can't wait to see the finished version. I, too, think the knees and elbows need a bit of work, but other than using a sincle plate hinge, I've got no suggestions. -Dave (20 years ago, 12-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Two assault mechs, one anti-mech aircraft

(...) snip (...) This anti-mech aircraft has a very pleasing shape. It looks like a honey-sucking hummingbird, but in fact its a tough machine that brings death to those fierce mechs. Good work! Daniel (20 years ago, 12-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Mecha Fun

We did this last year in .space, I thought it would be perfect. Just fill out the questions like survey. What is your name? Soren Roberts, aka "bricklovinfreakboy". Oooh pretty. I like the calves, they're just sweet, no justification required. The head and hips also stand out, very clean lines. The only things I would change are the elbow and neck joints. Oooooh, gundam! Melike! The model is looking pretty good so far! My one suggestion would be to beef up those legs, they seem too slender to me. Otherwise, i can't wait to see this finished! (20 years ago, 12-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Inspired by Soren's admonition, I'll try to do a more complete job on this post.
