Yep. Seems we did this a LOOOONG time ago here. Ill have to look it up.
What is your name? Dave Johann, aka legomecha or HardCore. Ill sometimes
answer to Hey you.
How old are you? 35 (really? ouch! Im gettin old), inner child is 7.
What does real life mean for you? (In the sense of what you do outside of
the hobby: work, other hobbies, etc.) Lets see, Im probably the biggest Mac
Addict youll ever meet and that sucks up much of my disposable income. Heck,
between Lego and Macs, I have no other hobbies these days. Im married, so my
life is pretty much whatever my wife wants it to be. ;) Hi honey....
Favorite Personal Mecha MOC? Touch to choose as each one encapsilates some
different design idea.I guess Invictus Horriblus due to the amount of work I put
into it. I havent built another 3 foot tall mecha since, but I will soon.
Favorite Other Mecha MOC? (Pick two or three if you want.) I love this
question. I have a couple of faves for different reasons. Arcitecturally, Bryce
McGlones Torment has no equal. No one has come close to the
siplicity/complexity of that design. I doubt anyone will for some time to come.
Mladen Pejics Mirage and Karim Nassars Dragon mecha take ABS ferocity to a
whole new level.
Chris Sneads Aldebaran, Gla Glas Patlabor and Mark Neumanns Treefrog stand
out as three of my favorite compact designs.
Most inspirational for building purposes: Eric Sophies Gomgile and Little Bots
Numerous small shapes by Jon Palmer-too numerous to mention.
Favorite Other Non-Mecha MOC? Without a doubt: Mark Neumanns Mech Support
Rig. Just rugged enough for my tastes. Hmmm...cant seem to locate Bruces cool
lime tinted space rig, but I liked that one too.
What would you like to build if only you had the parts/time? A life-sized
mecha in my back yard. Perhaps then, I could use the fiber optics systems in a
project...lol.
What inspires you? Little things-designs and patterns. I truly believe that
details make a design work or fail..
Hobby Japan is probably my biggest visual influence-especially the JAF issues.
Web design-colors and shapes tend to influence how I work on things and I always
like to see new details.
Bryce McGlone- He is my greatest sounding board. If he thinks an idea blows,
then it probably does. Ill stop right there and start anew. Building with a
friend is fun!

| We did this last year in .space, I thought it would be perfect. Just fill out the questions like survey. What is your name? Soren Roberts, aka "bricklovinfreakboy". How old are you? 18, but grouchy and cynical enough to be 50 sometimes :). What does (...) (21 years ago, 12-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
