Okay, I’ll bite. I’ve been lurking for a while because I’m in the middle of
moving. All of my lego is in storage! I’ll resume once the dust settles...
What is your name?
= Jeff Ranjo
How old are you?
= 38
What does real life mean for you? (In the sense of what you do outside of
the hobby: work, other hobbies, etc.)
=I just quit Disney Feature Animation as a Production Designer and decided to
take a chance as s Head of Story at Sony Pictures Animation. BTW go see “A Day
With Wilbur Robinson” when it comes out in 2006. It kicks some serious a**! I
am married with two awesome kids. I also like bodyboarding, video games and
fencing too!
Favorite Personal Mecha MOC?
= Anything GLA GLA especially his GaoGaiGar. Yikes! it transforms too?!?
Favorite Other Mecha MOC? (Pick two or three if you want.)
= Anything by the Japanese lego masters. They rule.
Favorite Other Non-Mecha MOC?
= Mark me down for the Ghoul also. Goldman is a freak. So quiet in person and
yet so evil...
What would you like to build if only you had the parts/time?
= A mech based off of a 1960 Cadillac. Lots of fins and chrome.
What inspires you?
= new lego parts, Five Star Stories, Shirow, Miyazaki, basically anything
Japanese.
Thanks Soren for putting this questionnaire up. I’ve been thinking about how
build.mecha has been out of sorts for a while. Maybe this will shake it up a
bit and build an actual community. My posting has been spotty due to family and
work. I build when I can spare the time. I hope to post more stuff later this
