In lugnet.announce, Jude Beaudin writes:
7. Amendments to the rules will be decided by Richard Marchetti, Tony
Hafner, Tom Sciortino, and Jude Beaudin.

Eek!  I want to make sure that I can reasonably claim to be eligible... can
we make it clear that the Scrutinizer[1] is the final arbiter?  And you
mentioned that the contest starts on Dec. 1st.  Let's say that the people in
the above list who want to compete don't get any rules input after that date.

In any case, the rules look pretty complete save for tally details.  Who
will tally the votes, and will you look for another uninterested party to
verify?  Larry Pieniazek audited last year- perhaps he'd be willing to do so
again.

[1] Can I use that for a ship name?  Or should that be reserved for next
year's Space Police contest?

(...) I'd say Scrutinizer is *definitely* in line with the names of official BT1 sets. I only wish I had gotten to it first.... <smirk> -H. (23 years ago, 15-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.contests)
