That's EXACTLY what I used to do-- up until a few months ago. Even when Ames
had that 75% off all SW sets and I bought 6 X-wings (and a bunch of other
stuff), I built ALL of 'em. But several months ago, I broke down and said
'forget it'. I'll still build a new set the first time I get it, and
occasionally even leave it up-- but so often nowadays I'm buying sets for
specific pieces, so I already have a use for them. So every second I spend
building the 'intended' model is another second that I'm not building what I
really WANTED to build. So I give in and DON'T build it... the end of an
era, I spose....

| Ever since my little-kid days I have always felt a need to build the set using the instructions at least once, even if it's a really dumb one that I just bought for the parts. But lately I've started buying more than one of some sets, and am (...) (24 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.build)
