I used to build every set at least once, no matter how cheesy or ridiculous.
I broke that compulsion, though, when I purchased all of the Roboriders at a
nice clearance. Once I built the first two, I realized they're all pretty
much identical, and didn't bother with the rest. I also did that with the
last Throwbot I bought on clearance (Flare) because it didn't look like
anything new. Those are the only exceptions to my rule, however. I agree,
it is sort of like paying tribute :)

| To All, (...) Interesting question. I used to build every set I got, for awhile, I think all I got sets for was to build, and that went on through most of my LEGO collecting years, let's say from when I was 4 till at least 16 or 17. When I went to (...) (24 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.build)
