I have almost the same problem in reverse.  Once I've built a set using • the
instructions, I have a really hard time taking it apart.  It will stay
assembled for weeks before I can make myself tear it apart.

Also, I have an odd compulsion to position things _exactly_ the way they • are
in the instructions.  If a piece is at an angle, I put it at that same
angle.

We've got problems :-)

I've got problems too then - all my sets were built on the day I got them,
or as soon as possible afterwards (it's not easy build Falcon and 2 UCS sets
in a day!) and they are sitting on my shelf, and probably will be for a long
time to come. Every now and again I tear apart a wing of my UCS TIE and 1 of
my TIE Fighters - I had to get 2 so I can have one each side of Vader's TIE
:) - and try yet another variation of an Interceptor wing design so I can
decide on which additional parts to buy to make interchangeable wings for my
TIEs. But I just know that I'll end up reverting all my sets back to the
original LEGO design.
