I think you meant 2x2x1, since those are the dimensions of the R2-D2 head (the
taller version is still only 2x2x1-2/3).

unfortunately, im flying by the seat of my pants here. while i figured out
how to go from mlcad drawing to jpg to photo-paint, i havent figured out the
reverse process. now that ive got a new piece, how do i get it back into
mlcad to use it with other pieces? can it be done? otherwise, id make a sink
or toilet to show you. im playing around with mlcad but havent found the
magic key. think of what you could build then ... i feel like frankenstein!

If you can get parts out to photo-paint to turn into new pieces, just build the
rest of the stuff in mlcad, bring it out the same way, and slip your new piece
into place. You might need to play around a bit with transparency and temporary
filler colors to make it work out right, and lining things up perfectly would be
a matter of luck in many situations, but it should still give the general idea
of what you were thinking.
As for getting your parts back in, Im guessing youd have to code them rather
than being able to transform your photo version into a workable 3D construct,
but its clearly possible to get your custom parts into mlcad or the regular
parts wouldnt exist either.
