Because I'm a tease, I took another couple of pictures of the Goblin (as it's currently known.) This time it's outfitted with plenty of weapons. (...) Yes, the arms are built on pins, so the weapons are really modular. I've built these in a bunch of different mission configs with different weapons. Not only will it not show up when seen from the side (as is occasionally the case), but Saran Wrap (or any plastic wrap for those against using brand names :) is DESIGNED to stick to things... (...) Silicon tape should work well. You can findn it in the plumbing section of a hardware store. It is a white tape (no sticky) about 3/8" wide. What's the best way to tighten up technic friction pin joints used for mecha? I have an old-style technic pin (a little tighter than the newer ones with the rectangular cutouts) holding the shoulders and hips of my new mech together. The shoulders (...) I built the Marauder, as you've probably heard, and did my best to 'colorize' it in a grey/dark grey color scheme..... and then used it at the BrikWar event. Hi Rob! Lots of debate on this one, mostly 'cuz minifigs are so disproportionate - they're quite wide for their height. Minifigs are 4 bricks + 1 plate tall, without neckwear. That's 4.16 cm. Oh, wow. I'm breathless. That is the most huge, big and cool aquazone building I've ever seen! It would make a perfect "Aquanauts headquarters" with submarine docks etc... Here's a sneak preview of my very first mecha. It's currently named Green Goblin, but we'll see if that name sticks. I don't particularly think he looks like a goblin. Hello everyone, it's been a while since I posted anything, so I decided I'd share my first Space World creation with you all. It's Vincent Gage's Mech (name subject to change :). Thanks for the comments. I'm going to shut down the server for a few minutes as of this post (my cable provider's DHCP server is dead, and my main site is down, so I want to reboot and try to get it up). VicLUG server is on the same machine, so it (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.build)

Thanks! The grey pieces came from 6339 Shuttle Launch Pad and I guess a few Y-Wings. I intend to make a few more of these things as time goes by. I think Mark is referring to mecha that is anthropomorphically female, not mecha that is piloted by a female. The Queadlunn-Rau armor, while designated as female armor, doesn't look female or make you think of the female form. But I'm a Macross (...) (24 years ago, 15-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
