I did a serious double-take on the Toad.  I admit I wasn't too impressed
with it at first, but it just keeps looking cooler and cooler.  I'll

What's really cool is that the Toad is, like, only 2 or 3 pieces away from
being a WH40K Space Marines Dreadnaught -- but it's deceptively simple in
construction.  I like this one.

Yeah, the Toad started out as part of a feeble attempt at making some 40k
stuff. Nothing really cool turned out, but I reworked the quasi-dreadnought
and got this. I'm pretty happy with it now.

(...) It does indeed capture a lot of the aspects of the Dreadnaught. Are the arms built on technic pin joints? That would make swapping them out really, really easy. Hmmm. More BrikWars fodder... it's getting to a point where I could field a Space (...) (24 years ago, 17-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)
