Yeah, that kind of armour (Terminator Squad) is pretty hard to model around a
mini-fig.

It's funny, I was just looking at pics of that shortly before I posted what I
did...

I've done exoskeletons like this before, too.  For example:

Armor of the type I'm talking about being hard to model in minifig scale can • be
seen at:

Scroll down until you see the bit about "Terminator Squads".  Pretty much
impossible, given the constraints of the minifig and Lego bricks.
