Very cool. I've always been impressed with the way you balance spindly-leggedness (is that a word?) with industrial-strengthitude (definitely not). As Andrew said, the textures are great, and the cockpit is exactly the kind of tangled mess I would (...) (22 years ago, 19-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.castle)

It Took Six Years to Build

Actually it only took a few hours to build the model, but I designed it six years ago. Back in 1996-97 I did a lot of rendering with POV-Ray. I did not know about rec.toys.lego or Ldraw. One day I came across Anton Raves' excellent library of Lego (...) (22 years ago, 19-Mar-03, to lugnet.build)

Re: The Name of the Game

(...) Any day now. We're on pins and needles, and Raven, she is Soooooooo ready. I've heard labor can be long, or short. But just in case Raven got me a Lego set to play with if labor just so happens to be a 24 hour marathon. Other than that, I've (...) (22 years ago, 19-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Perovich, but I modified it very extensively because of joint problems. It's one of my favorite mechs, although terrible for straight combat in the game. I'll put up a pic or two of the latest edition of it eventually. I have modified it again (...) (22 years ago, 19-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Dark Eagle Transaerospace Fighter MK II

Since many people who have viewed my website liked the Dark Eagle, I decided to improve the old version. Here is the result: (URL) Dark Eagle has proven to be one of the best transaerospace fighters ever made by Starforce. Despite that, however, it (...) Mark, I like it--strong yet agile. The long technic beam used on the legs adds some cool detail. Also the varied texture in this pic is great. (URL) When was this (URL) And are there any more pics?   Re: God almighty, Bryce! what have you done?

Yea, I saw this in the Brickswest pics but didn't know who was the creator. It definitely is a scary beast but I think I was in the desert I'd rather face it than the Cankerworm. ciao&salaam -Andrew (...) [...] (22 years ago, 19-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Minotaur

New mech guys! Crossposted to castle cause I figured you might be interested in this as well. Some good close ups of the leg design too.
