It was a dream come true to finally hold (and drive and play with) the
model.  During construction I made a few minor changes to the design, see -
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=838

I am not sure why, but this model/building experience has been extremly
satisfying.

Let me know what you think of the model.

It's very nice!

However, the threads imply it's an tough off road vehicle but it's narrow base
and height implies it is rather unstable side-ways with a high centre of
gravity. Of course this can be an illusion considering all the heavy stuff such
as motors and drive train is located in the chassis and the actual body is as
light as a campers?

IMHO it would not hurt to make the whole thing a couple of studs wider, at
least bring out the threads about a stud compared to the body.

Best regards,

Actually it only took a few hours to build the model, but I designed it six years ago. Back in 1996-97 I did a lot of rendering with POV-Ray. I did not know about rec.toys.lego or Ldraw. One day I came across Anton Raves' excellent library of Lego (...) (21 years ago, 19-Mar-03, to lugnet.build)
