I recently picked up a 2001 Racers set, and despite the overall sillyness of the set, it did occour to me that the little 2X2 monster driver would make a passable alien mech pilot, and take (...) Just wondering, what do you think are the best pilots for mechs. I just got a the LOM RPP and the alien is only 2 studs wide, making it comepletely unnesessary to make room for the arms, same with the battle droids(they can be used for other things (...) Too much doesn't always make the model look better, unless you're say Mark Sandlin or Paul Hanson, then you can use as much as you want and end up with a (...) Maybe this isn't news to anyone but me. but I discovered (after taking apart my Alpha team underwater mech) that the 2x2 with technic pin on bottom has little click tabs and fits into the arm socket boxes as a click turntable. They're one-off fairly specific tools, but made a big difference 'cos I had over 50 to attach, and wanted to make sure they were all nicely centred. I also usually have one (...)
