Hi,

I need some witnesses that I submitted my entry into the ISCC before the
deadline (I'm in California, so it's 5:30 on 12/31/01).

The story is kind of hokey, but I never claimed to be a writer :).

Anyways, let me know what you think, good or bad.  I'm already aware that 2
paratroopers and a pilot would never be able to fit in a single seat biplane,
but the story needed it.  Also, the weird spelling is intentional, I tried to
used old-fashioned spelling for some proper nouns.

My wife and I loved your site. To me, the story has a comedic tone like the
Simpsons, and would be the type of show Homer Simpson would watch on his TV
set. It's a serious storyline, but the dialog and slightly whimsical nature
of the pictures make it very tongue in cheek. I like the intentional wierd
spelling (like Hindoo - which adds to the satirical nature of the story)

I really liked the statue (with the round belly), but our favorite was the
tires for the Russian-type hats. I also liked the nice use of the dk grey
hands for rifle parts - I'll be copying that one as soon as I figure out
which sets have dark grey hands (and after my wife let's me bring weapons
into our Lego town...hmmm not very likely)

We had lots of great laughs from your site (I hope that was your intent)
Please let us know if you ever do more...

Thanks for the nice comments, I appreciate it.

I got my dk grey hands from the Boba Fett figure, if you can still find them
around.  Target was selling them cheaply a few weeks ago.

And yeah, I guess it it is kind of funny, though the spelling was actually
how I've seen it written in old books.

Since there seems to be some interest, I'll add some to the story when I get
a chance.

    Thanks again,

    Gary
