Monkeys also fit in a 2-wide space. They'd make plausible pilots, with
basically four hands and a prehensile tail. And let's face it- who doesn't
want a race of superintelligent space monkeys piloting his mechs?

| (...) But can they wear helmets? Do they even need space helmets? I'm rather partial to the Rock Raiders Jets minifig as a mech pilot, but then that's just because I really like that minifig :) She pilots almost all of my vehicles. Adrian (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
