Agreed! It's quite a challenge. I tried the same thing myself a few years
ago, using the same model. After quite a few headaches, I ended up taking
Bobby's advice and scrapping the mech mode (which actually never made it
beyond a Guardian mode) and turned it into a space fighter (my "Hellcat," if
you're interested). But I would like to take another shot at a transformer
some time...
