I'm not announcing any particular MOC, but I've just updated my BS Gallery with steriograms (those 3-d eye-crossing pictures) of a bunch of my MOCS. Please note that these aren't like "magic eye" pics, where some indiscernable shape pops out - these (...) (19 years ago, 8-May-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

(...) Cool! Another recommendation would be to make these parallel-view stereograms - those can viewed through a stereoscope, or by a person who stares past the art...the eyes need to be parallel. I'll need to take a look at these tonight - whatis potentially neat about stereograms is that the scalee can be manipulated by changing the distance between cameras - the wider the gap the smaller the scale. i want to see pics done with a (...) moved to lugnet.cad (...) Hi Jeffrey, I was just trying to render it in 3D such that it would look right if the viewer was a minifig standing on the ground plane. (...) LDView doesn't support orthagonal cameras at all, actually. It supports camera angles as small as 0.1 degrees, which end up looking really close to orthagonal, but it doesn't support orthagonal cameras. I'm assuming Jeffery's original images (...) (19 years ago, 10-May-06, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

(...) LDView gives you the option of "Cross-eyed" viewing or "Parallel" viewing. The former (which is default) appears to be what you used, and is somewhat self-explanatory: to view the images in 3D, cross your eyes so that your right eye is focused (...) These are really cool. Lots of fun (...) Without my glasses I basically see in parallel. So these come very easy to me. One thing I've noticed, the small amount of white space between the photos makes the stereogram clearer (but requires more (...) (19 years ago, 10-May-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Something kind of weird... you can create a similar effect with two identical 3D objects. For example, take two identical pens, hold them so they converge towards you, and cross your eyes.
