  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) Children. Sorry I wasn't clear. I was talking about AFOLs. (17 years ago, 30-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors)

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) Your original post seemed to imply to me that you a) considered 9V trains to be saved and b) did this because you had seen no further information on the issue (which I perhaps mistakenly thought meant from TLG as opposed to from secondary (...)   Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) Sorry, I have no idea what you are saying here. I said nothing about a lack of information from TLG. I just find it over the top for someone to get so upset about something that does not appear to be a big concern for the community. If 9V was (...)   Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) I have noticed, in the last six months or so, that retailers like TRU that used to carry things on their website like train motors and track, are no longer carrying train motors and track. First the items were marked 'sold out' or 'not (...) (17 years ago, 30-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) I agree. I would also point out that there is a well established mechanism for reporting problem parts, and, to my knowledge and experience that whenever a part is genuinely defective it is replaced. (...) Some people feel upset if the full (...) (17 years ago, 30-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) I'm not sure you should see a lack of information from TLG as confirmation of anything... I certainly wouldn't. Tim (17 years ago, 30-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) That seems a bit harsh. As a non-trainhead (organizing our clubs first train show for September) I thought 9V was SAVED. The save9vtrains website has not been updated in months the last time I looked. The Hobby Train (K10183) set came out and (...) (17 years ago, 30-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) What really apalls my wife who is a big-time Lego fan is the insulting way in which Lego sets are marketed to girls and women. Stroll through a well stocked Lego specialty store. If you are female, sets start out with Duplo Brick princesses. (...) (17 years ago, 30-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) I fail to see how the ambassador program increases such control at all. Every fan is still free to contact LEGO with their issues exactly as they did before, and leak^H^H^H^H post any information they find around the place. It appears to me (...)   Re: The Official "Issues List"

Disclaimer: I'm not a train guy, not even close. And I agree that the 9V system is a fantastic system in and of itself, not to mention the amazing things train clubs do with it. Should it be on the "list"? I'd *absolutely* agree. And I really (...) (17 years ago, 29-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors)

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) Can't say I've noticed any problems in any of my recent sets. It's a minor issue in my mind. (...) Why should I care if they don't want to sell certain products in certain countries? It's their loss. (...) It's unrealistic to expect a 100% (...) (17 years ago, 29-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) The death of 9V trains would be a thousand times more devastating to the single most visible contingent of LEGO fans than the grey color change. Train clubs are the real ambassadors of LEGO. Throughout the world at model railroad hobby shows, (...) (17 years ago, 29-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

Re: LEGO Ambassadors Status Report - Summer 2007

(...) Then it sounds to me like this is an area that Steve and the Ambassadors need to work on. If I were LEGO, what I would do is whenever information is being shared with the Ambassadors, I would include along with that information some indication (...)   Re: LEGO Ambassadors Status Report - Summer 2007

Well it's time for my semi-annual rant on LEGO Windows... I do hope the LEGO Ambassadors Issues List contains the problem of there NOT being a LEGO window system since 1987 (when most of the 9 classic LEGO windows were retired). With the worst kept (...)   Re: LEGO Ambassadors Status Report - Summer 2007

(...) Late reply but I had a little whip round on EB first... I'd be grateful if you could at least mention these lads before the next cycle as nice patches for an uncovered section of the community, they definitely represent a different group of (...) (...) Well, I certainly believe I am both! (A friend of Allister, and active in my fora). I keep a (URL) LEGOMatrix> of my involvment in the various fora, for those who are interested. Cheers Richie Dulin LEGO Ambassador (17 years ago, 28-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) snip (...) I for one like the non-system items. I love my egg cups and egg timer, my salt and pepper shakers. And my new classy bag with zippered studs. And my LEGO duffel bag. All are high quality as you would expect from LEGO. If I had a (...) (17 years ago, 28-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

Re: LEGO Ambassadors Status Report - Summer 2007

(...) Well, I agree with the first sentence, but not necessarily with your definition in the second. I'm pretty visible in my local community, and everyone has my email (which is pretty well known everywhere) and quite a few have my phone number and (...)   Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) Then LEGO needs to take a number and get in line behind the large software companies, motion picture associations, and recording industry associations of the world. Many Asian countries are notorious for rampant piracy because it's not (...) (17 years ago, 27-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors)
