I just noticed the communications gear placed on the roof of the Dino Research Compound (in the new Summer 2000 S@H catalog). What's up with that? (...) Did you see Raiders of the Lost Ark? Or Indiana Jones & the Last Crusade? Those are more of the inspiration for the Adventurers line than Temple of Doom, which was not nearly as good as the other two. Also, the beginning of Raiders has Indy in (...) (...) I disagree, I think that they were mooching off the potential sucess of the movie The Mummy that I believe was released in 1998. Have you seen it? Very Adventurerish throughout. Great movie. Mimicking Indiana Jones and making WWII mini-figs out of adventurers is an awesome idea! I bet that TLG based the theme on Indiana Jones and won't admit it.
