Happy birthday, LUGNET! You are far more coherent than I was at one year
old! :-,

It has far exceeded my expectations. Accessing RTL was hard for me -- our
news server at work wouldn't send messages I posted to any other news server.
Being able to access LUGNET via nntp is way cool. And virtually everyone I
recognized from RTL have moved over, but little of the RTL noise came with
them.
But more than that, LUGNET has done something I had never expected. Through
LUGNET, I can share Lego models of my design more easily, stay up-to-date with
Lego news better, and argue over earth-shatteringly important issues, and even
the feeblist nits, with civilized strangers.
In a word, wow. :-,
Cheers,
