Re: New Items on The Vault - 9/9/99

(...) Hmm. Ok, I can see this, excepting that some of the offerings in .shopping lately have been limited in quantity, and some of the offerings in .buy-sell- trade are very broad in scope. Where does the line get drawn? What about (for example) (...) (25 years ago, 10-Sep-99, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: New Items on The Vault - 9/9/99

(...) It seems to me that all of these are probably best off in shopping. Of course if eToys or TRU start posting, I would expect them to keep the posts to a reasonable quantity (1 per week or less, except when announcing specials). The posts in (...) (...) Hmm, I sure wouldn't call those "shopping." A "one-off" (like some old castle set) that's offered first-come-first-serve to someone is still a BST type of thing. (...)   Re: New Items on The Vault - 9/9/99

Re: New Items on The Vault - 9/9/99

(...) I'm not new, and I've never viewed .shopping that way. .shopping was created for buyers to share information they've gotten, and do a little bragging about victories they've achieved. Steve (25 years ago, 11-Sep-99, to lugnet.admin.general)
