My understanding is that IE in Windows will display the favicon only if the site is bookmarked, and then the display is in the Favorites list, not the URL field... the mere presence of the file as identified by Dan allows user agents that (...) I've noticed the last few days, when viewing Lugnet posts in my browser, it no longer displays the Lugnet logo favicon like it used to. Then I noticed the main page still works. Hi, not sure if this is the appropriate forum, but anyhoo, I recently applied for Lugnet membership, and a few days ago I paid my fee, but I haven't recieved a follow-up. is this normal or was it due to easter? I just noticed Felix Greco's post about House of Bricks, but this sort of announcement, seems to me, should be on the main page.
