Re: How to properly "announce" MOC's

(...) First of all, this is a really nice addition to LUGNET. Thanks, Jerry. Even apart from the worry over some LUGNET posters intentionally driving up their own "view counts" for egotistical reasons, I would appreciate some sort of reload-blocking (...)   Re: Change in LUGNET news appearance

(...) The ads in the LUGNET Guide pages are ok, they aren't annoying, it's a good thing. In the newsgroup pages, instead, I would suggest you to change the ad box with a banner in order to limit the scrolling. Even if LUGNET member, I wouldn't log (...)   Re: Change in LUGNET news appearance

Hi Gabriele, let me see if I'm getting you correctly: You would like to skip the "Make yourself familiar..." blurb and have your personal info filled in automatically when posting. This is exactly what posting as a registered user is all about (in (...) (17 years ago, 13-Dec-07, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Improved email obfuscation

I have a suggestion regarding the spam-prevention obfuscation that is applied to email addresses in (URL) message headers.   Re: New LUGMap for LUGNET

(...) Hi Dan, IMO, "real" maps like maps.google.com, local.live.com or www.frappr.com always look somehow unsightly. They're good for setting places on a very detailed base, like showing residences of club members etc.pp. But for a rundown on LUGs (...) (18 years ago, 14-Nov-06, to lugnet.admin.general, FTX)
