  Problems with confirming

Hi! I have already discussed this with Matthew Miller, but a final solution is still missing. I can post again, which is good, but I do have problems. When confirming I have to use the link, but the mail does not work. (with is much more convinient (...) (19 years ago, 17-Feb-06, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Suggest scale modeling newsgroup

(...) Not being involved in suggestions on this forum before, how does this work? Does a suggestion like this ever get an official response? Since it didn't have a massive following, does it just end up in the circular file? Thanks! (19 years ago, 18-Dec-05, to lugnet.admin.suggestions)

  Re: .mecha loading slowly??

(...) If the location of .mecha as a subgroup of .build is the reason for the slow loading, we should take another attempt to what (URL) Mark suggested 10 month ago>. Although Mecha isn't an official LEGO theme I'd suggest to put it as a top level (...) (19 years ago, 29-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.admin.suggestions, FTX)

  Re: Brickshelf find: Hello Vifam

(...) In fact, it is a direct violation of the TOS. I would suggest that the post be cancelled. Even the images are TOS violations of Maj.com. Conduct such as this is highly unbecoming and very disappointing, Stefan. JOHN (19 years ago, 19-Dec-05, to lugnet.admin.terms, FTX)

  Re: Suggest scale modeling newsgroup

(...) I'm guessing it would be in the .build heirarchy. What would you suggest for the name? lugnet.build.scalemodel? As to whether we should have a .build.scalemodel, seems like a good idea to me. -Lenny (19 years ago, 26-Sep-05, to lugnet.admin.suggestions)

  Suggest scale modeling newsgroup

Are there any feelings about whether there would be enough interest in a new newsgroup for discussion about scale modeling of real objects? I don't know where this would fit best in the newsgroup heirarchy; I leave that to the experts. I could see (...) (19 years ago, 26-Sep-05, to lugnet.admin.suggestions)

  suggest a "Factory" group

There's already a lot of talk about LEGO Factory, scattered throughout the LUGNET hierarchy. I suggest a new group, probably at the root level (i.e. lugnet.factory). Best, Joe (19 years ago, 17-Aug-05, to lugnet.admin.suggestions, FTX)

  Re: suggest a "Factory" group

(...) I second this suggestion. The discussion is only going to become more frequent as more factory features are released. Tim (19 years ago, 17-Aug-05, to lugnet.admin.suggestions, FTX)

Web posting when not logged in

Hi guys, I just found out that Lugnet now allows me to post when I'm not logged in, I assume it grabs my details from a cookie, and then sends a confirmation email, instead of asking for my details as it used to. Was this change made recently? I'm (...) (19 years ago, 5-Aug-05, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Vote to unhighlight?

(...) I would probably suggest 2 bits tagged on the post: 1) Author has prevented highlighting/spotlighting 2) Admin has prevented highlighting/spotlighting The effect of the bits would actually be pretty hidden.   Link to multiple post authentication page

  Re: Request to move .mecha

(...) My two cents here... I'm not an admin and this just my opinion. If I recall correctly, Space gets it's own newsgroup because it is an official subtheme. Mecha is not an official subtheme and unfortunately gets buried in the .Build newsgroup. I (...) (19 years ago, 26-Apr-05, to lugnet.admin.suggestions, FTX)
