  Re: Curator for lugnet.org?

(...) I think you would do a fine job. I'll suggest it to Larry and Frank.[1] (...) Sounds good to me. --Todd [1] See (URL) (21 years ago, 30-Sep-03, to lugnet.org, lugnet.admin.curators)

  Re: NNTP is working (mostly)

(...) Hard to know for sure. More and more, it's seeming like the former rather than the latter. Early on, the attacks all consisted of commands to repeatedly list the contents of known existing newsgroups on this server, which made it seem (...) (21 years ago, 25-Sep-03, to lugnet.admin.nntp)

  Re: Avatars?

(...) This might be OK, but I would suggest the following limitations: 1. No animated images, period. 2. All avatars must be a certain fixed size. It looks crappy when you are at a web-BBS where some avatars are 40x40 and others are 50x100 or (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jun-03, to lugnet.admin.suggestions)

  Re: Signature Image Abuse

(...) I think MOC images can (and should) be larger. I'm not concerned about size there (though others are). I'm on a DSL connection, running 1600x1200 resolution. But, I do respect those who don't have that available, and suggest images of MOCs (or (...) (21 years ago, 29-May-03, to lugnet.admin.suggestions, FTX)

Especially with Lego expanding from soccer to basketball to hockey (even though I'm not thrilled with the execution of this last), having a "sports" section will be cool.
