  Re: A possible enhancement idea

(...) That would be cool. It would require keeping an index of yet-unconfirmed articles on a person-by-person basis (it doesn't currently track this) and just including that, or looking it up on-the-fly based on one of them.   Re: Interested in lugnet.promo

(...) I don't really think we would need someone for each region, because people in other regions can always just email the curator with links to current promotional information.   Re: Confirmations through Web URL don't work

(...) I've used both the e-mail and the web URL to confirm my posts. In both cases it has worked flawlessly. I'm very glad to be rid of the MadHatter and his antics. This small inconvenience is well worth the benefits. John Hansen (23 years ago, 10-Jul-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Confirmations through Web URL don't work

(...) I really liked the PGP option, but that never seemed to go anywhere. Allowing e-mail replies helped a lot - though it wouldn't be hard to cook something up with Procmail and Perl to get around it. Sooner or later, someone will probably do (...)   It's almost like Mail Bombing...

Whenever I post to some groups I get hit with a barrage of "Out of the office" and "Undeliverable Mail" replies to my personal mail box. This is VERY annoying. Is there any way we can do something about this? Dean -- Dean Husby LUGNET Member #320 (...) (23 years ago, 18-Aug-01, to lugnet.admin.general)
