| Theyv'e got a trebuchet in the grounds of Caerphilly Castle, down the road from my house (along with a ballista (Arbalist) and Mangonel) They fire it into the moat and the shockwave from the stones kills lots of fish I dont think you'd get a heavy (...) (23 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.castle)

| Wow. That was one piece of work. All those creative uses for pieces, especially the round towers and the rock raiders canopy, really gave it a realistic look. | I've now also modified my trebuchet to use two weighted bricks in the counter-weight. Here it is cocked, loaded, and ready to fire: (URL) It now throws in the 12-14 foot range, which is a respectable 175-200 yards in mini-fig scale. Brian (...) (21 years ago, 22-May-03, to lugnet.castle)
