Re: suggestions on a mixture of 2nd to 5th graders

(...) I'd agree with the other poster, strongly dependant on the individuals. I worked with a group of 4-to-10 year olds for a couple years and got some useful stuff done. The biggest hurdle was programming - the younger kids didn't seem to have the (...) (22 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.robotics.edu)

(...) What value has an apology even from a CEO on behalf of his company, if there is no intent whatsoever to remedy the situation? Sorry, but I can't accept this "apology". With all the communication chaos inside the company I can comprehend that (...) (22 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.color)

(...) Look at it from the realistic side. The more exposure you have, the more chances something you wrote will upset someone else. Ever since I joined the community, Larry has consistantly been the most active participant here on Lugnet. This and (...) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-05, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.people)

(...) I can agree with you that the level of communication has been rather low. In fact I'm almost getting withdrawal symptoms, as the 'signal-to-fight' ratio has gone so low. I have just put a software package for leJOS communication on my project website. (URL) the page you will find a small sample program consisting of a leJOS program and a JSP servlet.   Re: Lugnet should be MORE draconian

It is a sad fact that people in the Western world are getting more and more stressed out, and the result is often bickering and whining in all kinds of situations which used to be a source for relaxation, all smiles and warm, fuzzy feelings.   Lnp collision under Linux

Hi ! I'm having trouble trying to make a Linux box (Mandrake 7.2 kernel 2.2.17-21mdksmp) communicate with my RCX. My ultimate goal is to try and make the PC control the RCX via infrared (so as not to suffer from the RCX memory limitations). To do (...) (25 years ago, 11-Jun-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)
