Re: NXT firmware to be open source

(...) The LEGO Mindstorms Driver SDK is dual platform (PC and Mac). It is built upon the National Instruments NI-VISA interface. The main driver component is called Fantom. It exposes a set of C functions and C++ classes which let you communicate (...) (19 years ago, 3-May-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: mindscript - subroutines

From what I have found, you cannot do user subroutines in mindscript FOR THE RCX. (...) (19 years ago, 23-Dec-05, to lugnet.robotics)

I've been working with José David Parra on the next version of his (URL) RCX.NET> project, because 1.) the NXT system is coming out, and 2.) RCX.NET is basically a .NET wrapper of Spirit.ocx, which means it's not so nice to program with. Another (...)   Re: New contest

I take it you are thinking about using the CMUCam or some similar system with some level of intelligence on board the camera processor. After all -you are really not going to be able to shift the amount of data required to process on board the RCX, (...) (19 years ago, 9-Dec-05, to lugnet.robotics)

Once running GPS7.vi it does not seem to send (...) (19 years ago, 27-Mar-06, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)

Re: communication between NXT and RCX!?

(...) The NXT has a new sensor control bus. That allows many ways to interact almost anything you want. From Hear-say i have heared that HiTechnics is building an NXT - IR converter in the size of a NXT sensor..   Re: how to get started programming a Spybot on the Mac?

(...) Best way to get started would be to buy an RCX and a PC! ;) Seriously, if you can't get NQC to run on your Mac, you might be able to find a decent Windows Emulator that does and use that. I got a surprise birthday present of a Spybotics set #3808 (is my wife cool or what?).
