In The administrator section you can set the power down time - the time that the
RCX will stay on, unattended. The range is 0-255 with 0 meaning always on, and
the rest in minutes. No matter what time I choose, I can't make this work all
the time. Some RCXs will take it, others will not. I am running v. 2.51 on all
RCXs. I will set a time, note that there is communication, leave administrator,
shut down, turn back on, and then just leave the RCX sit. After the time passes
the RCX will keep on running. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Would
the latest version 2.54 fix it? Any help would be appreciated as I'm tired of
buying batteries sooner than I need to.
