  Re: BrickFest Brick Engraving

(...) Tommy, For myself, one of the top talking points with my co-workers was the brick I brought back, engraved with the company's name. It's sitting on my keyboard right now. They were all suitably impressed, and both my kids were ecstatic with (...) (20 years ago, 16-Aug-04, to lugnet.events)

Motivating CAD students to model LEGO (was prototyping)

(...) Well, my Semester starts in two weeks, so if you have any tips I'm all for hearing them! My biggest problem is motivating the Architecture students in my group. The Engineers don't really care what they draw (a widget is a widget is a widget). (...) Hey Brendan, Great stuff as always. Spies and the Prostitute: I wouldn't have done the sex scene, but oh well. The blue and yellow room in 2:2 is great, especially the blue axles in the yellow bricks with axle hole--great little detail. I'm not a (...) (20 years ago, 17-Aug-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)

  Re: challenge: LEGO copier

Would the bricks be assembled as a wall one brick thick on its side? Like laying a cinderblock wall on its side then creating a copy? That might be done with an X-Y table arrangement with vice like sides at top and bottom of the bricks so that they (...) (20 years ago, 4-Aug-04, to lugnet.robotics)

Is there a procedure in place in LUGNET for notification of set errors in the LUGNET database? Is there one for adding old sets not currently in the database?
