  Re: Crusader Fortress

(...) the new tan bricks to model Crusader castles. I have a partially completed 6080/375 type castle sitting in a corner. I'm hoping for more bulk tan bricks (and hopefully tan castle walls!) so I can get it finished. You did a great job with all (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jun-01, to lugnet.castle)

(...) And here I was wondering how you did that nifty bullet point. How about this: Of the English-speaking population that might reasonably be anticipated to pluralize a word by adding an S on the end of it, nearly 100% of non-AFOLs use the term (...)   OOC -- Jambalaya-like group-MOC idea

Hi all, I've been thinking of this idea for a while and I'm interested in kicking it out to y'all for comments. I'm preliminarily calling it Our Own Creation. It was originally a permutation of the jambalaya idea when I was thinking of J-games, but (...) (22 years ago, 14-Jul-02, to lugnet.market.jambalaya, lugnet.general, lugnet.events.brickfest) !

Re: Mathematical proof that you can't build anything with LEGO bricks

(...) I think he's probably correct, from a certain perspective. Essentially, LEGO has become a more diverse toy. LEGO from the 60's and early 70's was a VERY free-form toy. There weren't many connection types, so all the pieces essentially worked (...) (13 years ago, 27-Feb-12, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  AA-gun wanting new owner

I've got a coko bricks set MB05 which builds a truck with a 4 barreled AA gun on the back. This set is in a very dark green plastic, and is compatible with LEGO. It is missing 1 1x2 plate, but comes with an extra soldier fig [I think he's got 1 (...) (24 years ago, 1-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Are "classic" technic parts doomed?

Ah, it's about time we have a new thread about the possible death of "traditional" Technic LEGO again! I think that, while there is indeed a large abundance of new style technic parts, which I welcome, there is also a major use of traditional (...) (22 years ago, 13-Apr-03, to lugnet.technic)
