  Re: Most redundant Lego part

(...) Yeah, that seemed really odd to me as well. Thinking on it from the other direction, though, I've noticed that those little palm trunk segments can be fairly tough to link together compared to basic bricks and such. Perhaps they changed the (...) (20 years ago, 28-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)

  Spring Cleaning Goodies

Some of you (ok, all of you) may be familiar with the 4679 set, the bulk tub with the random 500 elements. Or its DUPLO brother, 4296. On the <www.bricksonthebrain.com/blog BIP Blog>, I've written up some description about where those "Spring (...) (20 years ago, 29-Oct-04, to lugnet.lego.announce, lugnet.lego, FTX) !

Want to Trade Wedge Bricks from 4679 bonus box!

Hi All, After sorting out 15 of the new bonus paks from 4679 tubs, I ended up with some unbalanced assortments of bricks. Mainly, I have unmatched wedge bricks in a couple of colors that I would like to find mates for. Here is what I have: 28 Blue (...) (20 years ago, 28-Sep-04, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Ferry 'Schulpengat': progress

Hullo! Just to report on my current project: a model of the Dutch roro-ferry 'Schulpengat'. Model specs: - I only (plan to :-}) have enough Lego to model the front part of the ferry... - has working Voith-schneider propellor, car-deck doors are (...) (20 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.technic)

Hello! I collect - Instructions for sets I own. I only consider a set complete if I have original instructions for it. If I get by chance instructions for sets that I don't own I keep them, though. (...) Kind of makes me wonder how many clear bricks you would need to make the invisible fuel tanks of an X-Wing which was shown lifting off a planet at least twice on a single tank of fuel. Seriously though thanks for the info. -Mike Petrucelli (20 years ago, 25-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) 2x4 bricks are in 8-part molds, yes. I'd venture a guess that 1x1 molds produce more parts per shot, and that some really large parts might even be single-part shots. Now that's all because you want to use the full volume capacity of the (...) (20 years ago, 22-Oct-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

(...) Hmm.. Is there any "truly" redundant brick in that respect? There's 1x1x5's which have a big hollow in them, usable for SOME things that a stack of 1x1 brick couldn't do (not to mention the hollow stud on the top). And IIRC the 1x2x2 brick (...) (20 years ago, 27-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)
