Having played (only as little!) with the crate on a self-aligning stand (2x2 slopes to help center the feet), the slopes don't seem to need the square edges of the 2x2 feet, and a (...) | snippage (...) I'm probably one of the few who LIKE the 1xXx5 bricks. My favorite window is the 1x4x5 and the 1xXx5 bricks really speed up building certain structures.
