| | My first MOC in "bley"....
|
| Hi all, I just wanted to present my first and so far only MOC in the "cool" colour bley: (URL) These (bley and therefor otherwise useless) bricks substitute the trashcan holder which is available from IKEA for 2.99 Eur. And no - I do not mind (URL) (...) (20 years ago, 14-Dec-04, to lugnet.color, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !!

| | Re: Discussion of Train Table Sizes
|
| (...) Hi all, I did use the measure of 30 and 7/32nds, with gives us 767,55625 millimeters, and rounded them up to 768mm. This is indeed a bit too much, because we got also problems with bridges (96 studs long) mounted on a table 30 bricks below the (...) (20 years ago, 14-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains.org)

| | Re: Legoland Sierksdorf
|
| (...) The scenes are dominated by red and white. The other 3 original colors appear as well, but green makes quite a showing as well. I don't think they were selling much in the way of green bricks back then. -- Tony Hafner www.hafhead.com (20 years ago, 14-Dec-04, to lugnet.legoland)

| | Blue baseplates
|
| Dear LEGO (Hi Jake!)- Now that 48 x 48 blue baseplates are in production (the Glendale Galleria LEGO store has them built into for-sale tables), it would be nice to buy them separately! (We recently needed 18 48x48 blue sections, so we bought 18 x (...) (20 years ago, 14-Dec-04, to lugnet.dear-lego, FTX)

Well, since I have a background as a graphic artist, I actually use Photoshop to mess with the color balance, brightness, & contrast, as well as to reduce the color count and fine-tune the diffusion. I then make each color a Photoshop "layer" (...) (20 years ago, 14-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)

| | LEGO town stop-motion animation music video
|
| I just saw a video by DJ Timo ((URL) called "The Robots", and the entire video was stop-motion animation of a LEGO town. The song was Kraftwerk's "Die Roboter", with a more modern sound. I was impressed by the video - the creations are well done, (...) (20 years ago, 9-Dec-04, to lugnet.mediawatch)

| | Re: Cleaning Bricks

| No, because dishwashers heat the water to way past 40 degrees C. Which will inevitably melt your LEGO bricks and probably stuff up your dishwasher. Washing machines that have a cold water cycle and a pillowcase half-full of LEGO are probably your (...) (20 years ago, 27-Nov-04, to lugnet.build)
