Re: 10152 Update: What has TLC to do to bring YOU up against them?

(...) Wrong. TLC stated that they had old Maersk Blue pellets and 'wouldn't it be nice to give the AFOL a really cool set and use up the pellets at the same time'. Why should that negate future contracts? It was a business decision made at the time (...) (20 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.lego)

  Re: My average set

Hmm, who are these people who even know what sets they have bought and in what quantity? I haven't a clue, but I can guess that my most frequently bought set is the bulk packs of 2x4 tan bricks. I bought an awful lot of them. Kerry (20 years ago, 21-Dec-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

  rarest printed parts?

What are the rarest printed parts? I own both of the printed 1 x 6 x 5 astronaut bricks from classic space (and some other printed classic space bits) but I have the feeling there are rarer printed bits out there. (20 years ago, 18-Dec-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: 8x9 foot LEGO menorah constructed in Burlingame, CA

(...) Yeah, that also struck me as very odd. It hardly seems like LEGO to be so discouraging, and besides, what's so impossible about an 8'x9' LEGO menorah anyhow?
