  Re: challenge: LEGO copier

(...) I wasn't thinking that the bot would have to exactly reproduce which same-color bricks are used side-by-side -- if I used a two 1x2 bricks, but the robot chooses to substitute a 1x4 brick, in my mind that's the same model. We'll just say the (...) (20 years ago, 4-Aug-04, to lugnet.robotics)

Trade Moonwalkers for 1Xn black bricks

Well even if I was successfull and won all of the 1X4, 1X6, and 1X8 black brick lots on AucZILLA TM IX (or is it IX TM?), I would end up shy in building the trailer for 5571. I would love to trade for 1Xn black bricks (where n>4). I have quite a few (...) (26 years ago, 16-Jan-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

I've used this for quite a while now. "(URL) ;-) In fact, I've got an entire Goblin Airborne Commando Squad (Ninjas w/ Gliders, substituting Stingray heads and 1x2 log bricks) that I've not yet had imaged. :-D Franklin (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: LEGO event coming up May 27-28

Our family was out on a road trip yesterday, and stopped by the event. It appeared to be very successful with lots of public participation. I am currently buliding a large building and need to span long distances (i.e., 24+ studs) I was using a post-and-beam method with 1x8 bricks and stacks of 2x2 bricks. I found that this was very fragile. I then moved to using very long beams (24+ (...) (21 years ago, 26-Jun-03, to lugnet.general)
