I was sorting them into their proper container, but of course couldn't resist snapping a few together into a roof segment, just to see how they looked. (...) | I found an application where two 1x2x5 bricks worked much better than 5 1x4 bricks. I was building a framework with Technic beams (basically the same thing I posted to lugnet.cad.dat the other day). I was inserting stacks of 1x4 bricks between the (...) (26 years ago, 19-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

| I love the bulk bricks, but can someone tell me why the 1x1 and 1x3 bricks are not available in bulk? | Clear bricks were available in many sizes, but in 2 sizes, 2x8 and 2x10 they seem to ONLY have been sold in the USA, and that was during the 1960's. This was recently confirmed by a Bricklink purchase I made from Europe of 4 2x10 and 2 2x8 bricks. (...) (20 years ago, 15-Dec-04, to lugnet.general)
