  Re: Suggestion

(...) I believe that these may be Minitalia bricks. Compare the look and feel of the plastic to LEGO produced bricks, it should be "duller", "softer" and "slipperier" If they are or might be, consider searching the catalog at BrickLink for pictures (...)   Re: LEGO name branding = Builder's Reverie

(...) Agreed. I'm sure many people have noticed lately that they are de-molding the bricks WAY too soon. Grab a nice new set with long 1x bricks in it - look at the sides of those bricks. Many of them will have sags in them from being pulled from (...) (25 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: If TLG was going to cease production of any 5 pieces which ones should they be?

(...) We're talking about the bricks, not the windows. :) Although the bricks *did* appear in, I believe, 483 Alpha-I Rocket Base and some other late seventies Space Sets. :) Jeff (25 years ago, 15-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

Early Lego 1x6 & 1x8 Bricks with Names

I was browsing thru PEERON today, and I was checking out the different 1x6 and 1x8 bricks with names ("named beams") many of them from the 1957-65 era. And I noticed that they didn't have those 1x6 and 1x8 named beams unique to the USA (Samsonite). (...) (20 years ago, 26-Aug-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Bulk Pieces suggestions

I think the whole idea of telling Lego which bricks to make available in bulk is kind of silly. Playmobil makes virtually every piece they produce available on an individual basis, even the little $.05 pieces. While I do think that there should be (...)   Re: Sacre Blue! Someting is not quite right here!

(...) Those rounded bricks look awfully good. And now they match LEGO colors! The only drawback (well, besides not being LEGO) is that the rounded corners let a lot of light through. But you could solve that by sandwiching a layer of regular bricks (...) (21 years ago, 10-Apr-04, to lugnet.castle)

Re: How to tell Cellulose Acetate from ABS
