  Clone bricks in auctions

A while ago, I bought 11 pounds of Lego on an eBay auction listed as 6991 Lego Racetrack. I jumped at it, as it was a low price (due to not being listed as monorail) and was happy to pay for the product, which was advertised as 11 pounds of Lego. (...) (...) 1. Of course, if the buckets w/ silver bricks could be bought at a discount, that would be swell. The same goes for any bucket. 2. Have you sold your silver brick for $2.00? Only with such a "realized gain" does your claim really stand, since (...) (25 years ago, 5-Jun-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

'Course, they'd have to release silver bricks, too, but how many of us (...) (25 years ago, 24-May-99, to lugnet.trains)

(...) favorite (...) For them to release silver windows is pretty tough. First, it is the most expensive color to do. Second, there isn't enough silver to have trim in silver and the silver bricks were limited edition. Mike (25 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.trains)
