Re: work in progress - 33009.dat, minifig book

(...) The picture on Peeron shows a blank version, from a Scala set. This was originally a Scala part, so "Scala" should also be a keyword. (21 years ago, 21-Nov-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: New colors and other info

(...) People may have been just as upset about the introduction of the minifig[1] and many other product changes over the years, but just didn't have such an efficient means of letting TLC know that they were unhappy. TLC should thank their lucky (...) (21 years ago, 25-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: work in progress - 33009.dat, minifig book

(...) Regardless of whether or not any patterned versions of a part exist, a base part without any pattern should be submitted to the library. If there are more than a few [1] patterned parts then a subfile structure should be created to reduce the (...) (21 years ago, 22-Nov-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Wow the imagination here is amazing. details I like include minifig skirts/robes made by using another (armless) torso instead of legs, the inside of the temple, the crowds on the street, actually; everything! Tim Spotlighted (21 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

I wonder if people complained as bitterly when Lego came out with the modern minifig. If you want the same toy your grandparents played with - go buy Lincoln Logs. What a bunch of crybabies.   Re: Madvac and Segway

(...) Great job Marc! I'm always impressed by tiny models that have such detail. The handle attachment to the end of the Madvac hose, using a minifig hand and -- is that a MF box wrench? -- is brilliant! I never think to use minifig hands in a MOC, (...) (21 years ago, 23-Nov-03, to lugnet.town)

A lot of short cuts can be taken if you only want a model that "looks good". The biggest (...) (21 years ago, 27-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic, FTX)
