  Re: don't feed the trolls!

In lugnet.loc.au, Kerry Raymond wrote: <ker-snip!> (...) Allright!!! Much agreed, those whingeing poms and whiny yanks just don't get our sedate and subtle forms of humour, much like our current score in the ashes (3 for 367 last I checked) Maybe a (...)   Festival of the Masters '06

I'm a little late in posting this, but I told KK Quah that I'd post a show report to LUGNET... So here it is... Back on Nov. 10th thru the 12th, the Greater Florida LEGO User Group ((URL) GFLUG>) did a 3 day display in front of the LEGO Imagination (...) (19 years ago, 4-Dec-06, to lugnet.events, FTX)

  Missing primitives after part update.

Hello, This is my first post, so please bear with me if I screw up. I have downloaded the Ldraw part updates, and installed them according to the instructions posted at the update site. My problem is that, every time I opened a parts folder in (...) (19 years ago, 30-Nov-06, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

Nice model, I have similar problems, owning a greyhound, all other dogs now look strangely proportioned! Tim You seem to have broken the formatting of the lugnet front page with your very long one word post title! (19 years ago, 6-Dec-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Any Interest in a Program for Creating/Editing Parts?

(...) Thanks for the updated links! The page listed in the earlier post appears to be out of date. (It has version 031 of LDS, and a broken link to your page.) It seems that there is a lot of great software already out there, which is not (...) (19 years ago, 4-Dec-06, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Parts Request

(...) I had started working on the 8-blade propellor part awhile back, and just did some more work on it recently. (This is one of the parts that I alluded to in (URL) this post>.)   Re: NQC programming guide

(...) References for "classic" C programming are getting rather scarce, but the top hit on google for "c++ tutorial", www.cplusplus.com looks like a good place to start.   Re: 2006: bad year for LDraw parts

(...) Pretty much the sole reason for this is legal/administrative. It has nothing to do with the amount of effort that has gone into part creation, or the amount of effort that has been put in by the parts admins. A decision was made not to do any (...) (19 years ago, 6-Dec-06, to lugnet.cad)

Mickey's Diner in St Paul MN

Hello, A while ago, when I was deeper into my diner phase, I built a diner inspired by Mickey’s in St. Paul, MN. I was inspired to build it by looking at the works of painter John Baeder.   RE: nxt + i2c sp03 Text-To-Speech?

The NXT can also optionally apply 9V to I2C sensors on the same input/wire that is used for reading the analog values. There's a flag to set this up. I know it is accessible in RobotC and I think you should also be able to set it up via NBC. SO (...) (19 years ago, 5-Dec-06, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)
