Apologies for replying to my own post . . . but, (...) And, there it is: (URL) I think it is a nice looking station. But, rummaging around the firenews website I came across another Haverhill, MA station that I think is just gorgeous! (URL) In my (...)   Live steam Lego locomotive

Hi, Pictures and movie here: (URL) is my latest (and most successful) attempt at building such a thing. This particular model runs on Gauge 1 track but could be regauged to run on Lego track by switching to an outside frame structure. It uses 8 (...) (...) I was able to capture some video from an engineer mini-fig's POV by strapping my little Nikon to a flatbed car -which luckily is 11-wide whereas our tunnels are 12. Sometime next week when I get back to the office I'll create an account at (...) (19 years ago, 2-Dec-06, to lugnet.mediawatch, FTX)

I have heard rumor, and greatly hope it's true, but I'll post it anyway, in case it isn't but could be: Specialty buckets. Brendan, You already know how much I love your work, so I won't bore you with yet another "you're awesome" post from me. All I wanted to say is, "Dude, you have a ton of minifigs". Thanx for all that you do, and when is the next book? Scott (19 years ago, 30-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

A couple rounds of Evil Stevie's Pirate Game

For his 17th birthday, my son David asked to get some of his friends together and play Evil Stevie's Pirate Game. This sounded like fun, except that: I had never played ESPG I had never game-mastered (well, once, but that was 16 years ago) We didn't (...) (19 years ago, 2-Dec-06, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)

  Re: Your LEGO Dream Set?

(...) My apologies for replying to my own post. I neglected to include the price I'd be willing to pay for such a set. I guess if I had to put a figure on it, I'd love to see such a model for under $40 (U.S.). Figuring roughly 10 cents per part, the (...) (19 years ago, 26-Nov-06, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

It's simply that couldn't come up with very much specific points to comment on regarding the Lego constructions themselves this time -- they're pretty flawless, which is what I should have said, of course, it's only that I'm a (...)
