  Re: Weird piece 4737

If it's this piece : (URL) (in black too) I think these are used in M:Tron 6956 (URL) to the question "why name it window", I think they do have the same profile as the bowed out window that you can make from (URL) its lower 1/2 counterpart (slopes (...) (...) Agreed. (...) Profile wise, the pieces are not compatible. Bad ascii art warning: 2468 looks like \ \ \ | | | / / / while 4737 looks more like \ \ \ \ | / / / / Much less vertical surface. I don't agree. To me there is a fine, but pretty distinct, line between "If you have to have this RIGHT NOW, I'll hook you up, but you're gonna pay. It will be easily available later.   MiniFest in Boston on Monday

We've been talking about it in the loc group but I thought I'd say it a bit more loudly. Subject says it all. Built ours this weekend. Jolly good set, nice heft to it and good level of detail. Dunno how long those new ratchet-hinge bricks will stay stiff, though. I see those wearing out fairly fast. (26 years ago, 22-Feb-99, to lugnet.starwars)
